Whole Teachers: Nurturing Humanity

Demons run rampant in our school systems: individuals hell-bent on sabotaging others’ careers, hierarchies mirroring the divisive caste systems of the world, and even those so miserable that they revel in others’ pain. But we must ponder: Can one truly support their fellow humans while undergoing a mental breakdown themselves? Can one impart lessons of patience, joy, love, or truth when their own actions stray far from these ideals? Consequently, our children suffer, receiving instruction from individuals who cannot manage their own afflictions. Our children look to distant figures, forging parasocial connections with people they’ve never met. But we need “Whole Teachers” in order to provide students with a new sense of self.

In Pursuit of Whole Teachers

To become a teacher, one must reach an elevated state of consciousness—a pinnacle standard. Balanced chakras, an authentic demeanor, the ability to be present, and a profound understanding of the significance of being a “Whole Teacher.” I traverse those corridors, attend those meetings, and hear those weary voices, witness sunken eyes encircled by darkness, and behold cheeks that have lost their vitality, exposing the bare bone beneath. I sequester myself in my room all day, seeking solace and maintaining a close connection to peace, while battles rage among various roles. Yet, for the outsider, freedom necessitates creative patience and persistent confrontation; otherwise, we succumb to the weight of malicious glances, subtle disrespect, and moral hypocrisy. Freedom shall arrive if our blessings are earned and our will aligns with our hearts.

In a world where demons infiltrate our education systems, sabotaging careers and perpetuating divisions, a profound question emerges: Can teachers truly support others while battling their own demons?
